Designer Express is a sister business to Comspec Computers, based in Northern Ireland.
We at Comspec have always offered fully bespoke web site designs but have increasingly been asked to provide sites for the more budget conscious business, who only require a tidy and functional site, which can grow with them as their online footprint expands.
This resulted in the setting up of the Designer Express trading name, specifically to provide a service for the small and startup business and to specifically provide a value-for-money design service.
Websites & Blogs
We provide sites ranging from the single page static site, right through to the multiple page site complete with online ecommerce store. We use Joomla for our sites, with the much acclaimed Virtuemart ecommerce plugin. Joomla provides you, the client and site owner, total control over your site content and future direction, without relying on your web designer every time you have an amendment or an update.
We are members of numerous Joomla Template 'Clubs', giving us access to a high quantity of template designs and themes. We can provide samples or demo sites of these templates prior to site design.
We also create blogs, whether this is a stand-alone site, or a bolt-on to your existing site. We use Wordpress and are very well versed in configuration, plugin requirements, template/theme amendments, etc. We also ensure that al the relevant plugins are installed to deal with Spam and SEO.
Logo & Banner Design
We send our logo and banner design requests to a team of hand-picked worldwide designers, who provide a selection of options for every design requirement. Because we are asking for a design from numerous designers, the client gets the benefit of a number of different perspectives, resulting in a greater variation and choice.
We believe that our designs are of a very high quality, but our worldwide 'contest' style of designing means that we can be extremely competitive in our pricing structure. We have a team of around 10 designers, from which we expect to get 6 responses from every design request. We shortlist this down to the 3 best, then provide these to the client for final selection.
Because of our special relationship with our approved designers, we are able to guarantee the quality of our designs, and provide low cost responses to our clients enquiries.
We only ask for payment once you have seen your shortlist, and we offer multiple revisions if necessary, to get a design 100% correct according to your specific needs.
